תאריך:  א', 05/05/2019 - 12:30 עד 13:30 See also: CyberLunch מיקום:  Room 365, Law Faculty, Mt. Scopus, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem Dr. Deganit Paikowsky from the Israel National Cyber Directorate, will discuss Israel's Developing Cyber Strategy: Current Aspects. Digital activity is at the base of every contemporary society in diverse contexts, including nationalsecurity, economic prosperity, social status, and the like. The resources that enable the functioningof this digital activity (computers, information, communications, people) are not naturalresources that exist independently. On the contrary: they are the result of deliberateefforts of various stakeholders from all components of society to shape the digital space -  including the private sector, thepublic sector, academia, and civil society. Therefore, an intentional and explicit national strategy is required. Such a strategy should express the particular goals of the national regulator and the society as a whole, as well as provide a plan for creating capabilities and strengths, and to represent them in a coherent manner together with relevant stakeholders and actors. During the Cyberlunch meeting, a preliminary concept will be presented regarding the network ofefforts required, including the roles of the various stakeholders and interactions between them.
