Kolodny Scholarships for Outstanding Students in Earth Sciences

The Fredy and Nadine Herrmann Institute of Earth Sciences is proud to announce the Kolodny Scholarships for outstanding students!

The Kolodny Program:

A prestigious and comprehensive program to strengthen the field of Earth Sciences, supporting outstanding students from undergraduate through doctoral studies, with emphasis also on increasing diversity in the student population.

The program is made possible thanks to the generous donation of the Kolodny family, in memory of Professor Yehoshua (Yeshu) Kolodny - a pioneering researcher, Dean of the Faculty of Natural Sciences, Israel Prize laureate, and inspiring educator.

 

What You'll Receive:

  • Five undergraduate excellence awards of 12,000 NIS:
    • Two awards for 1st year students
    • Two awards for 2nd year students
    • One award for a student from an underrepresented population
  • Two monthly excellence scholarships for Master's degree students of 7,500 NIS for one year.

  • One monthly excellence scholarship for a doctoral student of 9,600 NIS for one year.
