The The Fredy & Nadine Herrmann Institute of Earth Sciences Microbeam Laboratory hosts two main instruments: Electron probe micro analyzer (EPMA) and Laser ablation connected to high sensitivity ICP-MS (LA-ICP-MS). The lab is suitable for analysis on a wide range of solids material (metals, minerals, sediments dusts and industrial products).
